Terms of contract
ITEMS YOU MUST HAVE IN ORDER TO TEST
  • Vehicle (road worthy) 
  • Level 1 learner’s license
    (minors must have for 6 months)
  • Segment 2 completion card
    (minors)
  • Current proof of insurance
  • Current registration
  • Temporary instruction permit
    (adults must have 30 days)
REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT
  • Brake lights (all 3 must work)
  • Seats and safety belts for all occupants
  • Brakes       
  • Speedometer
  • Doors
  • Tires (no cords showing, inflated)
  • Horn
  • Working headlights and tail lights
  • Lug nuts
  • Working wipers and washer
  • Working turn signals
  • Rearview mirror and outside left mirror
Parents or legal guardians must accompany applicants under 18 years of age. If 18 or over NO PASSENGERS can ride during road test.  Parents DO NOT bring other family members to the test.  Tester, parent and applicant, are the only persons that can go to the test .  In addition, please make sure you have gasoline for the road test.  Also, if you bring a pickup truck, it has to have a rear seat for the parent (for applicants under 18 years of age). The total cost of the road test $50.00. We also offer car rental for an additional $35.00.

Refund policy

No refunds on car rentals or a road failure. Improper documents, equipment failure or failure of basic maneuvers test will result in a $25.00 rescheduling fee or a $20.00 refund. If you need to cancel, you must give a 24 hour notice before your appointment or a $20.00 forfeiture fee will occur and it will cost $25.00 to reschedule.
TEST SITE LOCATION IS AT ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH AT THE CORNER OF TELEGRAPH & NORTHLINE.
 USE THE DRIVEWAY OFF NORTHLINE ROAD.
THE DRIVING RECORD OF EACH INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTOR IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW UPON REQUEST

NOTICE: This school is required to be licensed by the Michigan Department of State, Driver Training and Testing Programs. If you have any complaint which you cannot settle with this school, write: Michigan Department of State, Driver Training and Testing Programs, Lansing, Michigan 48918. Completion of driver training instruction does not guarantee qualification for a drivers license.
